MPPSC Syllabus 2023: Selection Process
MPPSC Prelims Exam –Prelims will have 2 papers- (General Studies- 200 marks) (General Aptitude Test- 200 marks).
MPPSC Mains Exam – Mains Exam has 6 papers.
Last Round MPPSC Interview – Candidates who qualify in the main exam will be called for interview round. The maximum marks for interview is fixed as 175 Marks.

Note– There will be negative marking.

Note: The marks which are secured in the prelims are only for qualifying the Mains Examination. It is not counted to determine the order of merit. The Qualifying marksfor Paper II: Aptitude is 33%. But the candidates will be promoted to the Mains only based on the Qualifying marks in Paper I: General Studies.
नोट: प्रीलिम्स में जो अंक प्राप्त होते हैं, वे केवल मेन्स परीक्षा उत्तीर्ण करने के लिए होते हैं। योग्यता के क्रम को निर्धारित करने के लिए इसकी गणना नहीं की जाती है। पेपर II के लिए योग्यता अंक: योग्यता 33% है। लेकिन उम्मीदवारों को केवल पेपर I: सामान्य अध्ययन में योग्यता अंकों के आधार पर ही मेन्स में पदोन्नत किया जाएगा।
1 – The exam will be Offline Objective Type.परीक्षा वस्तुनिष्ठ प्रकार की होगी ।
2 – There will be 2 question papers in MPPSC Pre Exam. परीक्षा में 2 प्रश्न पत्र होंगे।
3 – Each Question paper will consist 100 questions.प्रत्येक प्रश्न पत्र में 100 प्रश्न होंगे
4 – Paper 1 will be of General Knowledge & Paper 2nd will be of Aptitude Test. पेपर 1 सामान्य ज्ञान का होगा और पेपर 2 एप्टीट्यूड टेस्ट का होगा।
5 – Each question carries 2 Marks So each paper will be of total 200 marks.पेपर कुल 100 अंकों का होगा।
6 – Time duration of exam will be given 02 Hours for each paper . परीक्षा की समय अवधि प्रत्येक पेपर के लिए 02 घंटे दी जाएगी।
7 – The exam will be conducted in both English and Hindi language प्रश्न पत्र अंग्रेजी और हिंदी दोनों भाषाओं में होगा
8 – There will be Negative Marking for each wrong answer. प्रत्येक गलत उत्तर के लिए निगेटिव मार्किंग होगी।
9 – Candidate who qualified written exam will be able to write MPPSC Mains Exam. लिखित परीक्षा उत्तीर्ण करने वाले उम्मीदवार मेन्स परीक्षा के लिए पात्र होगे।
Note – This is just a qualifying paper and these marks are not counted for final selection.

1 – There will be 06 papers having a total of 1600 marks combined in Mains Exam. मुख्य परीक्षा में कुल 1600 अंकों के 06 पेपर होंगे।
2 – First/Second & 3rd paper of the mains exam will be of General Studies paper (300 marks each). मुख्य परीक्षा का पहला / दूसरा और तीसरा पेपर सामान्य अध्ययन के पेपर (प्रत्येक 300 अंक) का होगा।
3 – Fourth paper of the mains exam will be of General Studies paper (200 marks). मुख्य परीक्षा का चौथा पेपर सामान्य अध्ययन के पेपर (200 अंक) का होगा
4 – Fifth paper of the mains exam will be of General Hindi (200 marks). मुख्य परीक्षा का पांचवां पेपर सामान्य हिंदी (200 अंक) का होगा।
5 – Sixth paper of the mains exam will be of Hindi Essay Writing paper (100 marks). छठा पेपर हिंदी निबंध लेखन पेपर (100 अंक) का होगा।
6 – Seventh & Eighth paper of the mains exam will be of optional subjects. (300 marks Each). सातवां और आठवां पेपर वैकल्पिक विषयों का होगा। (300 अंक प्रत्येक)।
7 – Aspirants qualifying mains will be able to attend the interview/personality test. मुख्य परीक्षा उत्तीर्ण करने वाले उम्मीदवार साक्षात्कार / व्यक्तित्व परीक्षण में शामिल हो सकेंगे।
